Heather is an American writer who moved to Bangkok in 2005. A failed blog attempt, one master’s degree and two kids later, she’s now writing about her experiences in the Land of Smiles. King Bhumibol addressed the Thai people on his birthday yesterday, calling for unity amid the flood crisis. Displays honoring the king can be found all over the country, including this one at the entrance to my husband’s workplace.
